Round Rock, 20 miles north of Austin, is one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Additionally, several other large-scale projects in the works to accommodate the booming growth in the Round Rock area include Scott & White Memorial Hospital,a 250-bed specialty hospital at I-35 and University Blvd and Seton Healthcare Network plans to complete a new hospital by 2011. A new IKEA is now open and Texas State University at Round Rock Higher Education Center. A draw for young professionals and their families, the median age is 29.3 years. Children in the Round Rock area attend schools in the acclaimed Round Rock Independent School District.
