In the Texas Hill Country between the forks of the San Gabriel River sits the little city of Liberty Hill.
Surrounded by rivers and lakes, prehistoric limestone cliffs, and
wooded hills, Liberty Hill is just fifteen miles west of Georgetown and
thirty-three miles northwest of Austin making it a convenient rural
community.
In the 1980s the area's economy was primarily agricultural, though
local growth has increased as workers settle here and commute to jobs
at the nearby tech employers.
